COUPLE THERAPY

Couples often find themselves struggling to communicate, rehashing the same old arguments or feeling disconnected. All relationships have their ups and downs, and it can be difficult to find a way out of a repetitive cycle of blame or hurtful silence. Over time, poor communication can lead to emotional and physical withdrawal from each other.

Couples therapy will help you explore the other's point of view. It allows couples to gain a new understanding of the root causes of problems in their relationship.

During times of stress or unexpected life events, all couples can benefit from the support of a qualified therapist. A therapist will not take sides and will seek to allow both of you to listen and hear what your partner is communicating. Having a therapist who is not emotionally involved allows for constructive discussion without the couple becoming emotionally inflamed or withdrawn.

Choosing to seek help can allow couples to rebuild their relationship and learn more positive ways to interact with each other.
